I know, hakama is too short for me and you can see the white of my dogi from under it. But I think I took care of that problem...

  • Just another thing, now that I see your video. I hope not to be disrespectful or anything, but I wanted to let you know that it seems that you lean forward loosing your center of gravity. Just fyi. Also it could just be the angle of the camera. :)

  • well, some techniques don't turn out perfect when i try to make them faster. Plus I do have a lean forward problem outside aikido too...

  • possibly wear it lower down, then it won't be too short, it looks far too high up your body

  • you're right, but it wasn't the hakama it was the belt i was wearing too high, so i had to weak hakama high too. Right now I wear it correctly but now I keep stepping on it lol...

  • Great job

  • thx, for commenting all my vids. I should promote you or something. How about a shoutout :)

  • My teas gone cold I wonder why i...got out of bed at all, the morning rain clouds up my window, and i cant see at all..and even if i could it all be grey, but your picture on my wall..it reminds me, that its not so bad...its not so baaad

  • yo, congrat on hakama,

one prob i see is that you 'bend' and lean too much when entering a technique, i.e tenshi-nage.

instead, connect with the ground, go into Kiba-dachi and keep your shize straight (straight body in kiba-dachi).

    keep on practicing!

  • Congratulations on wearing your hakama. I was kind of desapointed when they pass the rule that you can't wear a hakama in aikido unless you are a senpai or higher. I purchased my hakama in Japan town in SF. I also purchased the other hakama that you see can see in my video with the kimono and the haori it was a total of 350 dollars. I can't wait too use it in the Sakura Festival in San Francisco. :)

  • well at least you don't trip over it that way :D

  • i shortened the white pants too, so they look better now :)
