  • I like this lets see the finished job alan

  • Nice work - do share the final output.

  • @newgreen2 It's possible. His name indicates he's a blacksmith. I happen to be a bladesmith. Manipulating metal isn't all that different than wood. You know the old adage.... if you're carving an elephant, remove everything that doesn't look like an elephant. The technique will differ of course, and you are probably worlds better at wood carving than I am, but I do a lot of wood carving, leather working, and metal working because that's my trade. We're craftsmen. changing mediums isn't hard.

  • Nice Work...

  • I'm sorry I just don't believe you at all. judging from your little work shop you know exactly what your doing..You may be free designing but you've carved before! You make the rest of us woodworkers look like a dime a dozen!! Not anyone can just pick up a chizel and carve..

  • thats so cool.

what kind of carving would you call this?

you know, cause you're not making something like an animal or anything

    abstract?

  • Let the wood talk to you.

  • My favourite fractals are in trees! Keep those chisels sharp...

  • Nice little vid. Really enjoyed it. Andy
