Yeah, I believe Paul McCartney DID say vehemently that that scene never happened in real life. I tend to believe it, but at the same time, even if it did happen, I don't think Paul would have admit to it - he would have felt to admit it ever happened (if it ever did) would tarnish John's memory.

*Tears* but did you know that in 'Nowhere Boy' John didn't hit Paul that was a good scene but not true, I don't want anyone to think that John was a jerk for hitting him but he was emotional. I mean he lost his mom for cutting out loud plus John was a lover not a fighter. Just thought I should mention that :)
