56 cents on the dollar of what? That doesn't even make sense.
Next time, you might like to say, "On average, women earn 56 cents for every dollar earned by men." Also, you might like to specify - are we comparing single women to single men? Or are we comparing single women to all men?
If you want intelligent responses, you need to think more carefully about the way you present things.
Why is it ok to portray men and boys in a negative light? You don't see women being treated this way. Were in a war over perception that demands that men be weakend, rather then women being strengthened. Why do we have to bring a mans status down, to elevate a womans?
Our boys in school are falling behind because of society's catering to girls and disregarding boys in grade school. This evident in women outnumbering men in college.
Younger women in large cities are making more than men.... examples being 17% higher in New York City and 20% higher in Dallas. This is nothing more than a ploy for supremacy... more than has already been achieved in the upcoming generations(younger professionals in 20's).
