USS Nimitz CVN68, Deployment, San Diego, 07/2009 Music Version

The supercarrier USS Nimitz CVN68 as she deploys out of San Diego bay July of 2009.

The Supercarrier USS Nimitz has left San Diego for Bremerton Washington in early December 2010. I have posted a film of the departure. This departure from San Diego is permanent. CVN 68 will be in maintenance at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Bremerton, through 2011.

On Thursday, December 9, 2010, the Navy announced that CVN-68 will be home ported in Everett Washington following the year of maintenance.

Gosh i cant wait till they are back. my boyfriend ray is in that ship. been together since 10th grade April will be 4 years. i miss him sooo much. i love you ray!!!!!!!!!

thanks for your comment and those by all these other great people here. I'm looking forward to hopefully being able to film their return, and having been away at Christmas, they deserve a grand film to say the least. I'm told Navy does not permit YouTube access while at sea, but they sometimes leave comments here after they return. GodSpeed to this carrier strike group, with a soon safe and celebrated return!!!!!!

Note to Everyone:

Lord knows that you miss your loved ones who will be away for this Christmas! I plan to film their homecoming, and that of as many of her strike group as possible, when they return soon. That film will be in high definition, because I own a better camcorder now. May God bless you all, and especially your loved ones on CVN-68, and on her strike group ships, of course, as well.
