The intro reminds me of 'Angry Chair', or 'Get Born Again', overall a worthy effort, and correctly called 'Alice in Chains'

As for the mic stand on stage right it not only holds Mike's picks but is also a spare lead/backing vocal for Jerry .When I seen them in 2007 he sang the second verse of Would? stage right and if memorey serves he did the solo over there too which means there is also a Crybaby Wha pedal.

Been a fan since Facelift and I hate to say it but they are a better band without Layne dragging them down.The new album is close to being their best.Hats off to William Duvall, good guitar player too!!His band Comes With The Fall are great.

Is it so hard to figure out that leaving that mic up makes for a perfect spare lead (or back-up) vocal in case a cable fails or the stand falls over?
