Its been three years since my last boyfriend,
and at least ten months if my math is right,
since some guys even tried to cop a feel.

Ive had all my friends set me up,
and even joined a sketchy site,
but theyre stinkers, all those fish I seem to reel.


Instead of dating Brad Pitt, its like one date and theyve had it.
Instead of macking Clooney, its a psyhopathic loonie.
Instead of kissing Johnny Depp, its finding out he gave me strep.
Instead of my personal James Dean hes taking me back to his dorm cause hes eighteen!

I want it now, Im just no good at waiting
for my charming prince to sweep me off my feet.
I want it now, no more of endless dating.
I just need funny, rich and kind of sweet.
I dont care who, what, where, or why or even how

Theres nothing more in life I hate than good things come to those who wait.
Ive waited and its overrated, when will I get my turn?
If you tell me patience is a virtue I think might have to hurt you.
You cant say shit, Ive been patient and it its only got me burned.

I feel like those who believe in me
have disappeared so long ago.
I slowly start to swallow all my pride.

or get used to the status quo
