Hard Drive Speaker

Got bored so i unscrewed my 10yr old 6.4GB Seagate hard drive and soldered wires to the coils from the read-write head and the electric motor.

The coils make the disk and head move very rapidly ( faster than the eye can follow), and generates soundwaves, so it works as a speaker.

Do try this at home :) But don't do it with a hard drive u still need, becaus you will kill it :p
