  • Well .... an hour into your videos , and my head is about to explode with all the trivia !!!! Thanks for your research . I'm sure 100's of these people are glad you give them some props . Good job , my fellow music lover .

  • @FRANKMACALUSO

Thanks and I am glad you liked it. Most musicians and performers have enjoyed the showcase, but a couple have not appreciated the exposure. (shrugs)

  • every popular mid 60s brit band took from non mainstrem black r&b late 50s. its no seceret , mite even helped guys like willie dixon, as page had 2 stop tkin credt later on

  • @tommieparch

True. But inspiration and the wholesale lift of a song are separate things. When the Beatles were playing Munich bars, much of their material were 50's R&B tunes from the States. Zep seemed to take this a bit further.

  • Jerry Naylor's BUT FOR LOVE was very very big here in OKC, even though it wasn't nationally.

Larry N. Boyington, aka Larry Neal, former curator of the Wax Museum on the big 1520KOMA

  • @larrynealwaxmuseum

That makes sense. Back in 1970 you only needed to break a song in a couple of markets to get on the charts. Thanks for the info.

  • Books on Marijuana Smuggling 1960s

  • Half way through and I must wholehartedly disagree. There were many songs and artists then that should have been bigger but these are NOT among them.

  • I remember Mongoose by Elephant's Memory. It was a rocker. I have it on vinyl.

  • these songs all blow chunks

  • @kevkoomer

Just a point of view, i've heard lot of crap in this selection that might seem great hits for you,

  • @seriousbe
