Board Games with Scott is a weekly vlog where I explain and review a different board game each week. This week, I look at Heroscape, which is a commercially available miniatures battle game.

Please note that my review is not designed as a training video. I don't teach all of the rules - I just show you enough to help you decide if you want to buy the game.

Also, all BGWS episodes after 014 are over at http://boardgameswithscott.com and are not on YouTube.

  • Respond to this video... your mental

  • @idks98032 my mental what?

  • Yup, I'm for real. I've been gaming for about 30 years, and always called them dolls, even back in my D&D days. So, it stuck.

  • @Alucard20039

It is not dumbed down at all. It is much simpler, which makes it more enjoyable to many people. It also costs significantly less, which is why I play it, since I don't have several hundred dollars to spend on dolls...

  • @the123hulk bonhommes translates into little men from the french version I'm bilingual I know ;)

  • got this for 2 bucks at thrift store = )

  • so, its a dumbed down version of warhammer?

  • Too bad the makers of this game stopped with Heroscape :(

  • Dude ur awsome ur the 1 who got me to buy this and my friends always want to play it

  • have you ever tried the miniature game axis and allies miniatures? It is so much better.

  • Enjoyed that review. I have been playing Heroscape with my French neighbour for a few years. He always calls the miniatures "bonhommes" (buh-num) which seems to fit the bill perfectly. The rest of us anglophones have adopted that terminology and now we always call them that. Seems to be a better match than "dolls"....
