@racergonemad99 It must be that camp because I did 3 years of B.C planting and it was tents and outdoor showers and long crummy rides.

@ciceromatrix I planted in the Chilcoltin for several years and then around Quesnel for the last 4 years that i planted. Done now. 11 seasons was enough

A cabin with porcelain plates and a comfortable ride to work? Whoa, the job is a lot cushier out in B.C? Or is it that particular camp only?

It was just that particular contract and company (the company was only 12 Vet planters) that I worked on for 5 years. We cooked ourselves, but there was only a small hotplate. And they were pyrex not porcelain. I did work on contract with 100 planters in massive bush camps, but after the first 5 years of planting i don't think i would have continued without hotel shows.
