Japan Rock Music

Just bought my first J-Rock cd this afternoon. I plan to start listening to more and more Japanese music....a way to motivate me to learn. There are some pretty damn good rock bands out there, but I have to admit I know next to nothing....ok!!!...I know NOTHING about Japanese music! I just got the new Ellegarden cd...their greatest hits. (Ellegarden Best 1999-2008).

I'm also looking for a cd by the Japanese band Naught John that were featured in TokyoCooney's "Vlog #20 Harajuku...again"

-Ryuichi Sakamoto...he is a genius

-Loudness...Metal in 80's style

-Guiter wolf...Guiter guys.

-B'z, most selling band

-Tomoyasu Hotei, Good Guiter..made Kill Bill music.

Omg, guys...Are u really noobs? He was searching for something similiar to Ellegarden! Not some X Japan stuff or Gazette, Girugamesh etc... It's not the same style, u know. Ellegarden was an epic band, I love this band maybe more than all of my j-rock bands in my pc ^^ And I was serching for something similiar for 2 years so I can really tell you what IS and what ISN'T similiar.

CHECK OUT Asian Kung-fu Generation, One Ok Rock, No Regret Life, Unison Square Garden, Inoue Joe, FLOW, RADWIMPS.....
