Part 1 of the episode in which we "actually play the damn thing." And get to hear what it sounds like. If you missed the first two episodes (an overview and a look at the inputs and outputs) you can find them at www.L2PNet.com on the Video page in the Lounge.

  • Sooo I can use this as a controller for my other effects as well as saving presets rite???

  • It does send and receive MIDI but I would not really cal this a controoler. You can use it for some functions but it is not going to replace something like a Ground Control. Know what i mean?

  • Love the rocker sandals! LOL

  • Yeah i know. We got one comment that just sqaid, "please wear shoes." I was working on an amp with a friend and his wife came in and looked at me and said "You need a pedicure. Or shoes." Yes, I have ugly feet. And Wal-Mart sandals...

  • Hey there, just wanna say thanks for uploading these demos. I'm really considering getting one, even thinking about letting go of my stompboxes for this.

I'm really curious about the looper function.

I have the boss rc20xl and use it a lot for my acoustic gigs.

Do you think you can do a review on the M13's looper capabilities? It would really help a lot.

    Thanks

    Pope

  • I am screamingly behind, but that is coming, I promise. Did my first gigs with it a few weeks ago. It just killed. Was happier with my sound than i have been in years...

  • man, can i change my amp channel (switchable by midi) with the m13.

PS. I own a Framus cobra.

    Thanks

  • You may have wal mart sandals but you have a $500 m13.. priorities bro!

  • The nova does sound & look better, but its not as functionally capable. You can only use it in a loop or in the front end, no wah, weak layout for presets. The line 6 is like a full on switching system like a Bradshaw

  • @reademandsweep

    Good for the Nova...

  • The TC electronic Nova shits on this

  • my personal opinion is that you get your clean sound and the distortion out of good amp! Especially for metal (I play metal myself)! My intension to buy this modeller is to create interessting Cleansounds and cool effekts for Distortion...

  • the answer to your question is simple : this thing can handle A-NY-THING. from jazz sounds to heavier stuff. If you're still hesitating, DON'T!!! get it! ^^

  • great videos, thanks for posting

can you achive really high gain distortion with this pedal? as i play alot of metal

  • I like your post I have also found that you can actually use this just like a POD if you set the reverbs and your tone settings right - I put my most favorite pedals in bank C instead of bank A so that I dont loose them in Loop mode..This thing is incredible for the money and emulates the analog pedals to the tea!!! the reverbs warm up the PA to sound like a nice gtr amp and then your sounds come out just the way it would through your AMP!! Amazing peice of gear!!

  • Clearest video I've found about this gear. Show MORE (and yes, you should find yourself a foot modeller...
