The resident locos at Wicksteed Park are three historic steam-outline engines. The Motor-Rail 4wDM Cheyenne (2224/1966)did not run on this occasion. The other two 0-4-0DM Baguleys (2042/1931 & 2043/1931) were seen shunting, and piloting the steam loco Rishra from Leighton Buzzard.

  • Wicksteed Park Railway - what fantastic memories! I can remember as a (very) young child riding on the train on the carriages that consited of nothing more than park benches as shown towards the end of the video! There used to be a second station as well with a few play things (if I remember correctly) but it was for dropping off only. :)
