Tips and Tricks in Windows 7

* Snap - To use Snap, move the window you want to the upper right or left of the screen. This will snap the window fullscreen or half the screen vertically.
* Shake -  Shake comes in handy when you have multiple windows open, but you only want one open. Just grab the window you want to stay up and shake it by holding down on your mouse and shaking the mouse. All the other windows will be minimized. If you want all the other windows back, grab and shake the first window again, and all the other windows will reappear. 
* Show windows side-by-side - If you have multiple windows open and you want them to be stored vertically, right click on the task bar and select Show windows side-by-side.  
* Cascade windows - Right click on the taskbar and select Cascade windows.
* Show windows stacked - Right clicking this option works similarly to Show windows side-by-side but will stack the windows horizontally. 

Keyboard Shortcut

Windows+Arrow key - There is also a 
keyboard shortcut that will give you the ability to move a window in the direction of an arrow key. Hold down the Windows key and guide the window to where you want it with the arrow keys.
