Chantal Boulanger plays St-Anne's Reel slow, middle an full speed as well as Mother Nature, a composition of Natalie Mac Master. Both are souvenirs of Leahy Music camp 2008, Ontario, Canada. I really look for musicians -especially a pianist- interested to play with me in Belgium.

  • Wow , ablossombee, you are so kind with me ;- ) !

Your reactions are a real honour for me. Indeed I LOVE doing that, even if it's not perfect at all! Yes, I did put the pieces together myself. You'll see, ideas come easily. Thanks again and good luck on the fiddle.

  • Lovely playing. Was it Donnell that taught St. Ann's at slow speed? It sounds like his type of playing?

Isn't Leahy Camp awesome? I attended the 1st two and they were great. :)

  • Awesome! ....A truly inspiring arrangement!

    Thanks for sharing your gift!

  • Did you improvise the mixed pieces of music, yourself?? This seems to always be an issue for me... I know so very few songs by heart and wish I could learn to play from the heart... Your video was really what I needed to get fired up! Thank you, Thank you! You are amazing! (apparently I couldn't put this all in 1 post) :)

  • W-O-W!!! I don't think I've anyone rock out like that on a violin... ever (really, and I've seen a lot of violinists...)! I've been getting back into it myself, and am so amazed to watch people play so passionately. I love it when it's obvious that someone LOVES what they do. I wish I could play with such finesse, clarity, and power, as you do.

  • Hey Chantal.. sounds like the version that we recorded on the recording session.. or almost.

  • originele versie van St -Ans reel !

    thanks for posting this Chantal
