drive.web Bardac Drives Dollar Spinner

Using drive.web smarty distributed process controller, its dual encoder feedback module and our ODE2 drives, we demonstrate a high-performance phase-lock loop with encoder positioning. Witness a fast 1 second ramp-up to 1200rpm with a dollar bill suspended between industrial motor shafts in phase lock. 64-bit positioning always presents the dollar bill at the same end point with "In God We Trust" facing out. There is a pause and the motors spin to the next position.

Hi, I guess your product is not as strong as a dollar bill. Sorry about the problems, maybe you should use a smarty with closed-loop vector drives like our ODP or PL/X digital dc drives for your more demanding applications.

That's an impressive demo. We use the Smartys and Speedys on coordinated drive systems for three plastic film production lines. Keep up the good work. More videos of capabilities would be great!
