  • Do you have the first episode of Capitol?

  • The credits here are from the final show, as I have seen a video clip of a character about to be executed (they show a close up of the character's eyes during the end credits). I was only a baby in 1987 when "Capitol" ended, and therefore I don't remember the show, which began in 1982, and I wasn't born until 1986. But thanks to the Internet, I can see what I missed whenever I want to.

  • @CarlD2 John Conboy had been the producer of the show for the entire run. It ran for five years under his direction, although Charlotte Savitz did not come on board until later. ;)

  • Written by James Lipton. Produced by John Conboy, Charlotte Savitz. That explains some of the bad choices late in their run...
