@GregsGuitars So , by shitty u mean that the 0.9 are shitty or that the one that came with the guitar were shitty? i was thinking about to change to 0.10s .... but would i have to adjust the truss rod ?? or the the change from 0.9 to 0.10 isn't that big??

So would you say that Mini Humbuckers are a good compromise between Humbuckers and Single Coils or would something else be better?

Im getting a 1974 les paul gold top deluxe from my uncle for free and its hardly been used im also getting a 1980 Marshall JMP MK2 Master Lead 50watt 2-12 combo amp with it and its all free

HA! I loved that question. I have a 77 Deluxe and they are sweet. All Deluxes came with baby humbuckers. The only replacement for that guitar is a P-90 soapbar.

I had the shitty 0.09s strings from the pre-owner on this guitar. This guitar will sound even better with 0.10s or 0.11ths (my choice)
