  • I HATED THIS VIDEO!!!!!!! My uncle died of cancer :(

  • @pookyH1235 Sorry your uncle died. Maybe some prozac is what you need instead of instructional videos geared towards highschool students. Hope you find some balance soon. : )

  • Thank you to all of my wonderful and talented students for the ratings and views!

  • @AKfun2009 yeah that is not what you should be doing, you need actual clay, from the earth. most use a type of earth ware clay.

  • Had my first lesson and went in today just to practice what Ihad been taught. When pulling up the walls my item loses integrity in the sides and collapses and I cant get a good bite into the clay to make a good pull.

  • @AKfun2009 ...lol

  • i can do that!!!

  • @AKfun2009 She is using clay. Stoneware most likely.

Definition of Ceramic- "an artifact made of hard brittle material produced from nonmetallic minerals by firing at high temperatures"

So ceramics are the finished product, after the clay has been fired.

    She is using clay.

Whoa, you were using MODELING CLAY????

Um.... Were you in school? I don't understand how you could use modeling clay on the wheel, and how anyone let you get away with using modeling clay.....

  • hi, for the pottery wheel, i used modelling clay and it doesn't change shape well, in the video, are you using ceramic?
