@Soundofjoy how long have you ben playing? our church organist won't let me play the organ, even though i know how to play the piano lol.

The tremulants are set a too shallow, especially if you are going to play gospel style music. Is this a analog Allen or a early digital, I can't tell if there is a card reader on the right side.
-
@Xerox6085I I understand that many of the early Allens did not have reverb, and really depend on the acoustic space they are speaking into. It can be added with a bit of effort.

@Soundofjoy Any luck with it? The Allen Organ Company still keeps stock on all of their digital organs (they are starting to slowly stop providing support for pre-digital organs).
I'd like to know what model number this organ is, or what system and year it was made. We are considering an Allen MOS1 organ from 1979 for our church, and I've been doing a lot of investigating as to whether or not it is a good choice and seeking out many opinions.

@Royalorgans This may also be that the room is dead, no reverberation or the reverb channels of the instrument are not working.

Was that a song at 7:50? If so, what was it?
I like the organ Sam but I must say that You play the organ like a Hammond and the registrations are off. There is a way to get better sound of that organ. The Allen organ you are playing has classical set ups. When you play you can hear the breaks between the organ which cuts off the tones. Since you have been so helpful to me In the Contemporary relm. I want to be of help to you so that you better play the instrument. Please contact me so I can tell you some registration. and legato subst

@Royalorgans this organ was damaged in a lighting storm 15 years ago and hasn't been right since. Even now the sound you hear in this video is worse :( Will be calling the only repairmen in the NJ area to service it again

@Royalorgans Just because the Organ as a classical setup, does not mean that the organist cannot play a digital/pipe organ like a B3. Infact I think that any organist who can play a pipe organ like its a B3 has great talent. Too many times organist will only tackle mastering the B3 & never a pipe organ & they miss out of the sound, quality, and texture of the king of all instruments. Now I was alittle disapointed because I was expecting to hear some type of Full or Sharp Mixture with some reeds.

@jbenjamin59 speakers for this organ have been soaked from water damaged over the years, has had a lighting strike before I became the musician and still need repair. I get the best I can out of it on Sundays
