I think you are underestimating the sneakiness!..

This sweep is a great option when your opponent is standing and backing out of your guard. Heel control is key here, and one must be able to swivel your opponents hips away from you to take the back...

I learned this in Orlando, Florida from Marcio Simas (Gracie Barra black belt legend)

  • Very nice post. I appreciate all FREE techniques. People need to lay off the negative posts. People need to be thankful that ppl take the time to post technique. In this day and age, with today's technology, one can learn so much because of the video's. Before technique hit the video market, it would take someone several lifetimes to learn what they can learn now if hungry enough.

  • @rickjets2010 mahalo brah!:)

  • this is sloppy. i trained under Dustin Denes (third degree black belt under Ricardo De LaRiva ) and this is just not such good technique or explaination... sorry

  • @FraldinhoBJJ well Marcio Simas(legend) taught it this way//great friends w Ricardo..aloha n armlocks brah..see u over here sometime..look me up

  • i like it, im trying to improve my de la riva guard and spider guard so cheers for the technique.

  • old old school move

  • it think it's a commonly knowm move but I was taught your leg comes over their arm not under when you start to take the back - gives a lot more control

  • If Simas tought you that in the way you did it i'd be surprised. no small detail done, would be easy to pass

  • @2submi Ok, ok, you're right. I'll revise that: I'm annoyed by the hair and I respect the technique. I'm just sayin shit....don't be too insulted guys. Keep up the good work.

  • @bourquechris now thats just silly to say

  • I'm so annoyed by the the fake hair that I can't even respect the technique.

  • Fraldinho?..come Hawaii and I show you what's up!
