  • Does anyone remember the commercial with the crazy D.J. miming the songs in his radio booth? It was similar to this one.

  • So I just called them.... ROFL

  • @jasondavisdotcom Actually it was KILO in Colorado Springs. . . . I remembered him right away by the voice! lol Never saw him in person unfortunately. Did not know of him passing away, so sorry to hear that. RIP old friend.

  • I've been quoting this commercial since I was a kid XD Good stuff, thanks for posting!

  • I saw it was addressed way down in the comments but worth mentioning again. The red-haired fella on the right was a great radio DJ known as "Red Noize". I worked with him at Z93 a classic rock station in the mid 90s. Unfortunately cancer claimed his life. I don't remember exactly when the funeral was, but I believe it was early 1995. He was a great guy. I believe he also DJ'd back in the day at Denver's KILO radio.

  • Wow, this was at that magical triple point of Records, tapes, AND CDs.

  • @GabbaGabba78 And war and protests. If those are the good old days, I'd hate to see what the bad ones looked like.

  • @dmine45 I Saw The Commercial When I Order My "Freedom Rock" In Cassettes. But I Should Order The C.d's Instead To Late. It Have Some Good Songs From Late 60's & Early 70's. This Commercial Aired In Late 80's.

  • Turn it up man.no Turn it down man..there drinking some hard cider you can see the bottle on the ground.

  • lol @ how expensive two CD's were back then. I'd gladly take the vinyl records over them.
