Walker Brothers - The sun ain't gonna shine anymore 1966
- from Japan TV

Lyrics:
Loneliness is the cloak you wear
A deep shade of blue is always there
The sun ain't gonna shine anymore
The moon ain't gonna rise in the sky
The tears are always clouding your eyes
When you're without love, baby

Emptiness is the place you're in
Nothin' to lose but no more to win
The sun ain't gonna shine anymore
The moon ain't gonna rise in the sky
The tears are always clouding your eyes
When you're without love

Lonely, without you, baby
Girl, I need you
I can't go on

The sun ain't gonna shine anymore
(The sun ain't gonna shine anymore)
The moon ain't gonna rise in the sky
(The moon ain't gonna rise in the sky)
The tears are always clouding your eyes
(The tears are always clouding your eyes)
(Sun ain't gonna shine anymore)
When you're without love, baby

The sun ain't gonna shine anymore
The sun ain't gonna shine anymore
The sun ain't gonna shine anymore
The sun ain't gonna shine anymore

  • It's German TV, not Japanese.

  • I used to look after the music in a local youth club and I was still playing this track in 1970, by request!

  • walking dead and walker brothers haha

  • This great song still jolts me with joy as much as it did in 1966 when I was 17!!!

    "I Want Yo' Number."

  • If they don't use this song at some point in the actual show I'm gonna personally clock Robert Kirkman on the side of the head

  • I melt inside hearing those velvet voices

  • All the old song's from 'the walking dead'

it has to be this one that tops it of!!!!!

  • Scott had the most powerful voice in his era and beyond. While great singers, Tom Jones, Engelbert, Jay Black all are a slight notch below in vocal range, clarity and depth. Scott did not have the consistent arrangements, of the others, nor did he choose to leave the melancholy themes. While a couple of songs like this, Make It Easy on Yourself, In My Room, After the Lights Go Out are great, the remainder tail off considerably.

  • Beautiful song!

    Truly madly deeply :)

    (Minghella fan here XD!)
