god can't die because he never existed to begin with

But abiogenesis IS being tested scientifically and while our ideas about abiogenesis don't constitute fully formed scientific theory nevertheless we have some very good ideas about what happened and how. We know the complex precursor molecules required for life form naturally due to their chemical affinities, what we don't have evidence for is that it happened magically and was the work of some undetectable being.

@aveyowyns lol okay, won't bother if you won't respond to FACTS and sink to DENIALISM.

@aveyowyns "You care enough to continuously get it wrong." you can't slide that in and expect to end it just because you say "good day". own up.
get it in your head: atheism was *not* an essential aspect of communist regimes.
"though, throughout history, it almost always has!" you're kidding, right? athesim exists since man exists. communism is a XIX century invention.
"...and this was very much a waste of my time." stop stop beating the same drum and i'll stop challanging it.

I never said atheism implies communism - though, throughout history, it almost always has! I said that the burning of churches and banning religion is significant to the dictators ATHEISM!
You care enough to continuously get it wrong.
"It's still dubious."
...and this was very much a waste of my time.
Good day.

@aveyowyns "What effin difference does it make?" it makes all the difference. does it come form atheism or does it come form communism? atheism does not necessarily imply communism.
"Rather, counter the goof atheist argument that religion has killed more than atheism."
that may be true but i frankly don't care. it doesn't proove anything per se.
"lack of God IS the motivation for these consequences - yet, the video is not to express this idea."
fine. it's still dubious.
"...more than have been committed in the entire history of man."
I had to stop there. Sorry, sauce? You are aware that there is such a thing as unrecorded history, virtually of which had man in a religious or atleast semi-religious state?

thanks...

@aveyowyns ..no need for thanks. I'm just saying, if you're going to say these things, please try to make them reasonable? There are too many things that are repeated over and over and over that are presumed to be true, but are not, and your claim is one of them. Can you atleast attempt to look at the other side and see them as civil, smart, important members of society that you don't need to use lies to denigrate?

@atheistworstenemy
See who?
This claim is rarely ever made. The claim that religion is the cause of most deaths and wars is ALWAYS made, and this video - which is a summary of an essay - counters that claim.

@aveyowyns No, its not. Its said that its used as a justification for wars, never really for deaths. Religion isn't to blame for violence, but it isn't really disputable that religion is pervasive among justifications for war.
Atheism, on the other hand, never has been used to wage war. "They believe in religion?" "Destroy them all!" Has not happened once in history.
among far-right overly-evangelical theists, this claim is made regularly. You may not be very familiar with your own kind.

@atheistworstenemy
No, it's not. It said that it is the CAUSE of wars and death. It's nice to know that you aren't one of the any atheists who like to quote from Richard Dawkins, but this video isn't directed to you, then.
Well, yes it has. Stalin burned churches. Mao killed the religious.
...and YOU many not be very familiar with YOUR own kind.
Thanks for the lecture. If you respond, I won't.
