  • @knucklesxshannon No, I didnt use layers, but layers are a VERY useful and good thing so use them when you can!

My gimp is not working and I deleted all my drawings because they suck, I really just meant like a tutorial like maybe you could draw a red ball and the sun or source of light coming from somewhere and you shading it. Something simple. Because all these other tutorials don't tell you what tool to use,how to do it, or what layer it's on x(

  • @glaceon101able Ohh that's not too hard. for me I use the burn and dodge tool to shade but there are other ways to do this. I haven't used GIMP in a long long time and rarely did art with it. I sent you some links of useful shading tips that should help you; digitally or not this information is great to know.
