  • Well, since this video was uploaded a few years ago, I have been having problems with nitrates. month) I have not been able to afford new filter media for awhile and my tank has suffered. Right now there is hair algae covering all of the rocks in the tank. The nitrates are staying low, mostly because of all of the algae. I'm sure there are lots of factors contributing to my problem besides the canister filter. The lights have not been replaced in 3 years.

  • first of all the saimese fighters are freshwater and the clown and the shrimps are saltwater so you got to do you research before you start a saltwater tank

  • I heard these filters are nitrate and phosphate sponges. Did you have any troubles with it? It makes your tank look really good.

  • why do you talk so proper it sounds like your 70

  • im 16 years old and not really new to fish but shall be new to this kind and im wondering if you could tell me ow much ALL the kit costed and any advise on stuff like the clown fish and stuff and weather the errr oh the names gone....shrimp =] react with any other fish, 1 fish i would like to have is the saimese fighters along with the clown'f and a couple shrimps would the shrimp attack the siamese?

  • Sorry I never replied to your question. The tank is a 55 gallon tank, 48x12x22 I think. Thanks for the comments.. hopefully things will continue to progress towards the full blown reef tank within the next severals months. I've got my T5 lights, and now that I have the RO/DI system I'm well on my way to having the right water quality for some corals.
