hrant dink's funeral

More than 100 000 Turks attended Hrant Dink's funeral, slain 'Agos' weekly editor in Istanbul. Under Armenian music, which was being spread through speakerphones, the procession walks from 'Agos' editorial office to the Armenian Church and then to the Armenian cemetery, where Dink will be buried. Earlier his family had asked the participants of the march not to turn the funeral into protest. The majority of the funeral procession carries banners reading "We all are Hrants, we all are Armenians."

I have a lot of respect for Turks. They have been bred to hate us, and in some ways, many ways, us them. They have their good and bad just as we do. I wish we could just find peace. Im so sick of fighting, yes OK It pains me to see what I know is Armenian land under another nations rule, Mt Ararat in the hands of ANY other nation, but what can I do?? Thats the reality of our situation. I say, we ALL, Armenian & Turk, PRAY WE REACH A FINAL & PERMANENT PEACE.
