It is the inside structure of RB2000 Coreless Servo (Optional servo)
It was disassembled after over heated.
it is not an ordinary DC Motor but with its core light-weighted, so faster speed response and less inertia.

  • Well, this is due to unawareness of the blocking of metal frame of the leg when I set some pose. :(

next time, I shoud check every pose with each servo's condition.

cause the price of a coreless servo is more than double to a ordinary one!

  • what is the motors diameter?

  • This video may be the only visual example of a coreless motor's armature on the internet.

Thanks for the video. I was rather curious as to what a "basket woven motor's" armature looked like.

  • what caused it to overheat? was it during normal operation, or was it locked?
