One has to give real credit to Donny Osmond for his ability to be a massive teenage heart-throb registering very high on the Beiber scale yet at the same timemodestly contributing to the Osmonds instrumentally and as a backing singer on equal terms. Compare this to the one trick donkeys like Beiber and the way the Jacksons always pushed the young Michael into the foreground. Being a talented superstar in his own right did not stop his being a great supportive instrumental band member.

One thing that often gets forgotten about the Osmonds. They were VERY good singing in unison. The genetic link helps with the tone but the exact identical timing, intonation etc is not an easy thing to do. See Ben Fold's and Sean Stockman's comments on the SIng Off

I was playing this song last night on New Year's Eve, and this is one of the best songs that The Osmonds wrote. The message is amazing and ahead of their time! Just the universal of their beliefs of spirituality and love around the world. The Osmonds got my respect in my book! I hope they can be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame soon. They deserve it!
