"Mistresses" was an adaptation of the BBC drama that revolves around four college friends in their thirties. Holly portrayed the character of Jane who left her career to be a stay-at-home mom of two young boys. The cast included Brooke Burns and Rochelle Aytes as well.

The pilot of "Mistresses" was in running with several other pilots at Lifetime including "Mrs. Novak" & "Drop Dead Diva". If picked up the pilot would've become a series as a companion piece to the show "Army Wives" but unfortunately the network decided to pick up "Drop Dead Diva" instead. As a result the "Mistresses" didn't move forward.

@arielmarlin The pilot was in the running with Drop Dead Diva and the network decided to pick that show instead. Her character Jane had so much depth. It could have been an amazing show. Makes me sad. Still.

I would've loved to have seen this come to fruition mainly for holly marie combs, she is and always has been a wonderful, natural actress, way back since picket fences!
