this was first visit to your channel and my absolute FIRST attempt at baking a cake that's not from a box. with your recipe and tutorial, it came out DELICIOUS!!! half of it is literally gone already! thank you soo much. it didn't come out as beautifully brown as yours though (any tips for that btw?) but it looked and tasted fabulous. thanks again!!

I always hope that my tutorials are good enough that others can follow and have success.
You did very well and I congratulate you. It may have browned off if you had left the cake in the oven for longer. The important thing is that the cake was cooked throughout. Also ovens do vary, maybe next time try placing the cake on a slightly higher shelf to see if that makes any difference to the outside colour of the cake.
