This is such a joke, and Brad Metlzer is pathetic for being involved. All this episode is, is hindsight bias, that's all. Ignoring of course the obvious idea that an old, ignorant societies some how knew anything about the universe or even the solar system is fairly laughable. And the use of the word "fact" in this episode is painful to listen to. "Things are bad, it's a fact!" Seriously, kill yourself.

Actually, 21 December 2012 IS the end of a cycle. The 26,000 year "Zodiac", for lack of a better phrase, star cycle observable from Earth. The Mayans accurately tracked the stars and did indeed figure out when the cycle ends, and then STARTS OVER!!! There is no "end of the World" anything that is going to happen on 21 December 2012. Anyone that tells you otherwise is selling a book or website. Purveyors of this nonsense are charlatans out to separate a fool from his buck. Sun cycles, that's it.
