I just received my esc from hobbyking and this is the video of me unpacking it. Of course the box was a puzzle all by itself. Unfortunately it's not perfect as you can see on the pictures. I have no idea how well it works yet since I still need to solder the connectors and I'm still waiting on a motor for it. I have also uploaded this manual to the hk files section of this esc if you want to take a look at it.

I have found a problem with this esc, the heat sink touches the electrical contacts on either side if you move it just slightly. So I'll have to use glue or electrical tape to keep this from shorting the esc. A larger heat sink that can use the outer screws may work, but will have to be machined on the sides to clear the pcb. It wasn't obvious until I took a closer look. Just take a look at the pictures and you'll see what I mean. I noticed this after I had put that cable tie on, but just took that off again to later see how I can fix this so I don't fry the esc on my first run!
Well, I ended up machining the heatsink to make room for those electrical contacts. Check out the pictures link where I have posted those new pictures. So out of the box it's probably not the best one to get as is, physically speaking.
By the way, nowhere on the manual does it say what UVW means. But I'm guessing it's like the sensored brushless motors where they instead have ABC if you think about it. Confusing to me, specially since this is my very first brushless esc. So I hope I'm right.
I finally got my motor and set this all up, but unfortunately the esc just went up in smoke! So now I got no esc and no money from this thing. Check the pictures where I have all this info.
You're free to make your own professional videos. I was just trying to show what I got and didn't know it had a weird box so you get to see the whole thing, but I'm not perfect.
