The Rombeiros Christmas house of Novato 2008

Quite possibly the most elaborately decorated private residence for Christmas in the USA. Each year the Rombeiro family of Novato California open their house to the public during the month of December. Virtually every room is completely full of decorations, many of which are animated or illuminated. In one room there is a complete city, with a train, moving ski gondola, skiers sliding down the hill and many other moving parts. In the hallway, Elvis impersonator Elfis entertains. Even the front lawn is covered with decorations. Although there is no charge for admission, they present every guest with a candycane as they leave.
