What strikes me is that when he says something truly right and excellent, there is no response from the audience at all. Silence. And that is why these days men such as him will never be president of the United States: He's casting pearls before swine. These people show themselves not to be worthy of a great president.

Unfortunately 1 year on from your comment it is clear that the masses are not interested in supporting men of truth, honor and decency. And so a nation will receive the leaders it deserves.

Should we forget the reason we were in Vietnam was to help our allies. should we forget that we hadn't actually entered that war as an occupation force until two of our ships were sunk by the NVA?

i wouldn't suggest Vietnam was conducted properly; what i do suggest is that the new Iraqi government is our ally. The Iraqi government is not asking us to leave. No where is it that their government has made such a statement be it written, voiced, or even implied.

(the only incident is the blackwater shootings - in which they said they wanted the private contractors out. - anyone else realize the numbers in the amount of people killed were exaggerated? first reported as three people in a car and the numbers ......

rising over the month have gone as high as 17... 14 people dont just show up dead in the streets a month after an exchange of rounds)-
Furthermore; this country is in the final stages of the iraq occupation - the people are governing themselves. a few hundred years ago our nation became it's own by the people taking their freedoms - why are people so against helping others?
