  • I am not aware of the program or its limitations.

    Would it not be better if the character first learnt to balance on the spot on one foot, twisting and bending before attempting walking.

    This is how babies learn so as it is a tried and tested formula it should be done the same way in evolved artificial intelligence.

    So once it learns to balance and able to step forward then because it is already able to balance on one leg transfering the back foot forward should be easier and more balanced.
