This was taken on the roof of my office building in Lawton, Oklahoma. I see this storm, and the others storms we had over the weekend in this area as a beginning of a rough summer.

We had a perfect view of this storm to see the formation of the wall cloud, and rotation in various places within the storm.

There were no tornadoes viewed...at least tornadoes that touched ground, but there was plenty of activity within the clouds and a small light show.

I edited this video to around 4 minutes, from 10 minutes of stuff.

  • har har.. i knew where u were at when u turned and i saw the white tower.. ur downtown by the police station

  • @kanimaru13 Yep, just around the corner from the the police station.

  • This was neat! Thank you jasonmit. I was going to try to guess exactly where you are, but since you want to be discrete I will not even try. The neat thing is I know the area, but picking your building would be like a scavenger hunt. Saying that, please more sir?

    thanks!

  • Oh yeah, it is that time of year again and I have better equipment these days.

I also made other weather-related videos including when Tropical Store Erin blew through. Just search, 'jasonmit Lawton Storm'.

  • its weird that most of the bolts were seen on one side of the wall cloud

  • @jasonmit lol.. cool.. im over by votech lol

  • i was there on the west side of latwon when we heard the tornado siren. In Burger king

  • I remember that time with that all that rain, this year seems to be like its gonna be just as bad sadly

  • haha holy shit

  • Yeah, I work down town and it was on the roof of our two-story building. It's about a block from Gore Blvd.

Since its a company everyone in the area knows about, I don't want to come right out and say the name, but giving its the largest building downtown east of the court house, you might be able to figure it out. Plus, some of my other videos will yield clues.

And sure, I'd love to see the pictures. My myspace page is under the links section of my website.
