Anna is really good and adopts more of an opera singer's tone which is very suitable for an older Christine, but nobody can pull off the pure, natural and emotionally raw performance of Sierra. Her voice is perfect and she lives and breathes the role of Christine.

@renilicious It is true that Erik needs stage presence. In my opinon, Ramin definitely had enough stage presence for a convincing phantom. However,everyone has their own opinion on who has stage presence or not. But, calling Ramin a "kiddie phantom" on one video, saying he has no stage presence and is a bad phantom on a different one, and then calling ramin a "phantom for midgets" seems fairly rude to me.

I am not out to make Sierra look low, but Anna (in my opinion) is WAY prettier and her voice is WAY more beautiful than Sierra's. I saw Love Never Dies in the Theater in the USA and this Australian production was the best! Go Ben and Anna! :D

@TheNucleolus I am sure that is true for I have not not seen her sing live. Looking forward to seeing her on dvd!!! :) I will always be biased towards sierra though because I saw her perform live and just completely love her voice, musical style and emotive performing in everything she does. She is truly inspirational to me. I think every actress brings new elements and angles to the character of Christine which keeps the musical fresh.

This audio is nothing compared to her singing it live! Her diction, expression, vocals and her acting were nothing short of fantastic!

LOL kiddie phantom, thats the best word to describe Ramin. He's not convincing, but he's all over the place. Had a headache and sense of annoyance watching him stumbling all over the stage. JOJ is a way better phantom, for the London cast. Ben is the best and Anna is the best match. They're both brilliant.

When you disregard the story and just listen to Lord Webber's music you realize this may well be the most beautiful musical he ever wrote. The score begins as a deep aching pain and builds to a glorious triumph and concludes with love and redemption. So beautiful

Beautiful! I can't wait to see the movie to see the what everyone is talking about when it comes to changes made in this one as opposed to the London one. Although I will always have a special spot in my heart for Sierra and Ramin and I secretly wish they had been used in this new production. But I guess we can't have everything
