@Bajaury I agree with u. The quality of Naushad's music deteriorated fast with the passage of time especially after Baiju Baora and Mugleazam, Mother India, in sixties his music was ordinary / chalu quality and in seventies onwards it became below average vis-a-vis his earlier quality of forties and fifties. Gulam Mohammed's music in his short life span was better and more consistent in quality and melody than Naushad, barring Naushad of Baiju Baora and Ratan.

Most of us adore Naushad, S&J, C Ramchandra etc, who undoubtedly have immensely contributed to excellent music but I never saw anything complimentary about Ghulam Mohammad. Most of the songs that G.Mohd composed and I have listened to are all of the highest category. In fact the music by G. Mohd have similar tunes as Naushad and sometimes he has composed better music. It is time we recognize this great MD. I will rate him better than Naushad and S&J.
