  • were can i get a ballscrew like that! I have beeen looking for a while and it looks like a ballscrew from an old aircraft flap assembly.

  • @mayorofperryville I work with stuff that I find laying around, but did you try ebay yet,,

  • Nice video, what is so great about this site, others can offer help and you can get all kinds of ideas. It is nice to be able to bend heavy gauge metal. There are so many more things you can make. Your brake works surprisingly well for something you kind of threw together. That is a true craftsman. There are all kinds of expensive tools that do really fancy stuff but lets see what someone can make out of nothing but some scrap metal. good job. I would probably sell that gas pump and buy tools.

  • @definca thanks, I love how and what youtube is turning into, can share with people around the world, and the pump was sold 2 weeks ago, and got a big hammer drill,,,

  • Wine cabinet/Beer fridge gas pump? :P

  • @xpkkingx wine cabinet sounds like a good idea, puts a whole new meaning to getting tanked

  • @mayorofperryville ebay has a crap load...i got 2 1" diameter ball screws for 18 bucks and both are 18" long..just gotta shop around...even got 2 4 inch 24v electric actuators for like 52 bucks each...300lb max lifting load....good deals are out there..but one must hunt! and hunt mercilessly!

  • I like it. Creative recycling. Good job.

  • you can make a gun cabinet. Stand up the rifles and glass the front

  • good job, thanks

  • I've used a lot of bed frame rail. Drills hard and welds can crack . Nothing better then a machine that you made for almost nothing. Now it will save or even make you money ! A lot of my shop equipment is ether homemade or resurrected , discarded and broken tools ! Great video ! :)

  • best brake ive seen in a long long time sonny p
