Same thing happened to me on a day hike recently, I could tell when the bear first saw me he was curious. Had i not made a loud noise immediatly, he would have approached me.

That can be a tough thing. I had my own unpleasent encounter with a bear in maine but it was late at night and I did not film it. I'll talk about that during the recap of the entire trail. Thanks for the comment.
