Yeah, it was strange, each arm had its own up down left and right set up, along with the claw being backwards in rotation on each side so i could press one button for close and one button for open.

The real tricky part of building this bot though, would be the claw design, dont do it right and it will slip or it wont re-open.

But overall it was fun creating it and fun fixing it.

hi i tried doing that and all i can say it was great i am not going to steel your idiea becides i dont do vids on this sort of thing i do hornby.i love the way you made this and mine had a couple of bugs to start with it also tests your skill all i can say it was hard but fun and the best thing about it i keep coming back to that level and re doing it with something like yours infinity out of 10 also rated good and favroted it

You're sortof right, i thought the same until i did that for a monkey bar robot. it was a similar design to this one but as you can see from the video, the initial shape of your hands gets distorted from grabbing onto the bars and moving around, so then the limit is altered according to how messed up your hands are, which can create problems.

Somehow, I think the "hands" would work a bit better for you if you placed a limit on how far "back" they could rotate, so the don't go full circle outwards... it would make it easier to straighten them out when you reopen them. Just a thought.
