Since the 1970s, the US' income inequality gap has been on the rise. But today it has reached the highest level since the Great Depression. According to the US Census Bureau, people who are either born rich or poor will more often than not stay in their respected income class. It is believed if you work hard you will be able to overcome income inequality. Charlie McGrath, founder of WideAwakeNews.com, joins us to discuss if the American dream still exists.

  • Romney is so full of shit. Most of the people in America’s wealthiest 1% are there because they inherited it—with the majority of the remainder there because they married into it. And that’s “free market trade”? What the hell are you trading? What the hell are you manufacturing? And what, exactly, did Romney’s own corporate raiding finance company create or sell that in any way benefited American workers? Dr. Ron Paul is the only candidate on either side who ISN'T a disgrace to this nation.

  • Did I hear her correctly saying REPUBLICANS are using "class warfare rhetoric" ??? You've got to be kidding. It is Obama and Pelosi and OWS that are fanning the flames of class warfare.

  • Truth is not derived from polls. Romney is right on this one. Notice how even the guy talking is pointing out that the GOVERNMENT (not the private sector) is the problem. He is right that "failure is socialized". But socialism is imposed by GOVERNMENT...not the private sector.

  • Obama got my vote last time, not this time, but this time maybe too late, all the.cards.getting stacked up to crumble again

  • Romney makes me sooooo SICK!!!!!!.....He is soooo out there. Doesn't have a clue as to what the 99% think....CLASS ENVY!!! What, is he kidding me!!!!...I am so sick of these conservative GOPers...SICK, SICK, SICK...And get RELIGION OUT IT...THIS GOD THING HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT...WAKE UP AMERICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @AMERICANSTEW5 How could you know enough about his record to call it spotless? This is hyperbole that feeds what can only be termed a cult of personality. What about RP's allowing articles to be published under his name without even vetting their content? What about promoting Rockefeller protegé Ludwig von Mises? What about wearing eyebrow toupées?

  • Ron Paul can save the USA from the evils that are heading our way. After 20 years in congress, Ron Paul’s record is spotless.

  • Mitt Romney: "One Nation under the Mammon...errrr Mormon Gawd"

  • Who is McGrath? Is he a Jew hater like Rense?
