I've not seen The Burning yet but 4 out of 5 reviewers that have reviewed it (your one of the ones i've seen) liked it ;) (You, Topercat, Omardogs, coolduder) TheJewisMovieFan didn't lol.
But i will probably like it.

For a long time THE BURNING was hard to get because it was only on VHS - one of the last great early 80s slashers to be released to DVD. MGM put out a decent transfer to a great slasher. As you say brilliant Tom Savini effects. Also superior performances and music score always makes this one watchable. The killer's name is Cropsy btw. Good vid.
