The Gracias Choir was formed in the year 2000, and each year it is changing and reaching new heights through new challenges and development. Gracias!
그라시아스는 감사(Thanks)를 뜻하는 스페인어(Spanish)로, 그라시아스 합창단은 사랑을 마음에 받아 감사의 노래를 전하는 합창단이다. 이들의 음악에는 슬픔을 기쁨으로 바꾸는 힘이 있어 듣는 이들에게 깊은 감동을 준다.
2000년에 창단되어 매년 새로운 도전과 발전을 거듭하며 변화하고 있는 그라시아스 합창단은 현재 뉴욕 마하나임 대학교, 한국의 그라시아스 음악학교와 연계하여 운영함으로써 전 세계적으로 그 활동범위를 광범위하게 넓혀 가고 있으며, 미국 뉴욕 매디슨 스퀘어 가든, 호주 시드니 오페라 하우스, 오스트리아 아이젠 슈타트 하이든홀 등 매해 200여회의 공연을 성공리에 마친바 있으며, 그리고 2009 제주 국제 합창제에서 대상을 수상한 바 있다.
