We look at the spec and rotation for a Survival Hunter, and analyze the testing results via Recount. All testing is done against a raid boss dummy with no buffs besides basic class abilities. Gear is level 333 premade junk.

Survival is a complex cycle with lots of random procs, keeping things interesting. It beat Beast Mastery on dps by a decent margin. If Kill Command gets the buff it needs, BM might catch up.

you only apply serpent sting once and rapid fire every 3 minutes. other than that: Black Arrow is your first priority. and of course: explosive shot > arcane shot.

PS: MM > SV

Marksman gives you the best dps as of totday.

mm is far far better at lvl 81 on boss dummy i do allmost the same dmg on the same ammount of time
