Phrasebook video for travellers in Brazil. Essential for Effective communication in any situation. Kostas Katsouranis teaches how to say some basic words in Portuguese. You're gonna learn how to say words like "man", "dude", "what's up, man?", "what's up dude?", ''hey, man!", and "hey, dude!". Rio de Janeiro accent is used here. Comment, rate, add, and sub.   • Wassup - ja é! I thought that was it. Maybe you're speaking in older slang. But I thought for older slang it was ea e!

  • @Domsta333 Well, I'm not a teen anymore, haha. When the American use "wassup" people from my time speak "qual é?" or "e ae?". "Qual é" is more close to the meaning of "wassup". And that's why the slang was introduced in Brazil in the beginning of 80's. "Ja é" is more Modern and is more used with the meaning of "demorou". I don't know if there's a correspondence for that in American. I gotta check it out with my friends and then I tell you. :)
