NBC News Report on Winn-Dixie Firebombing

This is a second report we have obtained permission to list about my sister's murder. After the network aired the story on July 3, 1983, they never did a follow-up as to the outcome of the search for the murderer or what happened to him. We want everyone who sees this video to know that he was initially sentenced to die for his crimes but Florida law overturned that decision by the judge and gave him life. Now he lives on 3 square meals a day in Stark, Florida at the Union Corrections Facility. Someday he will be released, we know that and when he does HE WILL KILL AGAIN ! Society never learns but someday they will, after many more innocent people die from human arrogance.

They didn't realize then and still don't that mental ill people are few and in between, Ferry was none of those. He was initially put in the hospital, then when they told him they couldn't hold him there he jumped up out of the wheelchair he was seated in (because of his illness) and ran out the front door. Like he was sick, this guy knew what he was doing that night !

you must remember this was in the early 1980's when people felt (even then) that we must have pity for those who kill other innocent people. The jurors (mostly women) felt he could someday be rehabilitated. Boy they were wrong and still are. Some day he most likely will be released but for other reasons, like prison overcrowding.

In my opinion that sick piece of garbage is a human waste of skin. It would be alot faster and cheaper to put a bullet in his head. Why waste money keeping him in prison wasting tax payers money while he awaits the death sentence.
