Ask any question, and I'll answer them.

  • I have an old Daewoo VCR which will play a cassette, but no picture is displayed Ive tryed every method of troubleshooting I know of, (change the cables/ channel on the VCR and TV).

I know the tape is playing, but nothing is being either displayed nor can I hear anything. Can you help me?

  • how to fix a vcr right as soon as i put the vhs into the vcr it automatically ejects the tape? can you tell me how to fix it?

  • ..... on, the "big wheel" in the center area spinns up and whirrs for about 5-7 seconds than gives up and slowly comes to a stop. i have got lots of old movies i would love to enjoy, but i cant becuase of this problem. if you need a video showing its problems in action, i can make it as soon as possible.

  • okay, so i have this sony video cassete SLV-679HF its real old like from the 80's or 90's im not sure, but if you try to put a VHS into the place a VHS goes, it doesnt make any noise or use any motors, but it rejects it as if a powerful spring is pushing against the vhs. i have tried many vhss and it has not solved it. i call it being "stuck in eject mode". and you cant do anything with it none of the play/stop/rewind/f-f or the eject button do anything. also, when you turn it off, then back....

  • i always wondered what the big drum was till i saw this also what would you recomend cleaning the heads with besides alcohol

  • I have a RCA Selectavision from the late 70's/ early 80's. It doesn't load the tape. The guides won't move, so the video head can't read the tape.

  • Hey Hakemon, I've got no sound on my hitachi M920E! I think it was once burnt when lightning struck our house, i guess the power supply had been replaced but don't see any other fried components or loose cables..

  • My mini dv vcr will not take the tape. It's almost like it's dead but not entirely because the head spins and some of the gears move when I turn it on.

  • My vcr shuts off when I press the record button. I record a lot of t.v. Shows so what could I do to fix it? Besides throwing it away of course.

  • The front of this vcr looks like a pv 1231
